The founder and president of Adamedia, Adam Lepp, founded his Internet company in late 1995 as A6164 Internet Services. A self-taught "Internet Quarterback," he has over 30 years of computer experience. He started with the PDP-8 and Radio Shack TRS-80, which he learned to program while in Junior High School. A particularly exciting moment was when his school upgraded the TRS-80's to Advanced BASIC, and they were able to produce simple graphics. He also has an extensive background in sales, customer service, broadcasting, and scientific research. In the early and mid 1980's, Adam attended Clarkson University in northern New York. In addition to his studies in chemistry, mathematics, and computers, he enjoyed working at the campus radio station and humor magazine. Later, he also worked at commercial stations in Gouverneur and Tupper Lake, New York. Prior to establishing his company, Adam held some interesting sales positions, including health insurance, fundraising, and discount memberships.
